Welcome to Katoomba!!

Nice place they've got here! Down in Australia for Masters Track Worlds, I'm staying in the Blue Mountains outside Sydney doing my race prep, which involves riding, sleeping, riding again, eating, and sleeping. Not a quarter kilometer of flat roads here for easy rides. Met some local guys yesterday for the most extensive sprint session I've ever done, probably 10 hard hill sprints in an hour. Don't tell Harvey.

Mick doing sprints? Before you know it you'll be doing kilo start practice.

Good luck down there, wish I could be there for a team pursuit.

I wish they had team pursuit at Masters Worlds. I need to start doing some other events so I can amortize the cost of travel over more stuff.

It could be worse. Imagine trying to amortize the travel costs over 12 seconds as a mediocre match sprinter! :-)

Good luck!

Just remember Mick, it's 12 laps this time, not like at Hellyer where you just do 9 laps and stop!

Go fast!

More events? Well, if Pelaez races a UCI elite race next year (seems likely) I'll be looking for a Masters Nats Madison partner and seeing how you are becoming a sprinter and all... :-)
